A carpentry company
built on doing it right.
Oro Carpentry LLC has been finishing homes across Burlington and Alamance County for over 15 years — remodeling, decks, porches, additions, siding, windows, and fencing, all held to the same standard.
Finish carpenters first, contractors second
Oro Carpentry LLC is a carpentry and remodeling company based in Burlington, North Carolina. Remodeling, decks, porches, and exterior work are our core trade rather than something we picked up alongside general contracting — and that shows up in the details most people notice without being able to name.
Alamance County has a housing stock that spans more than a century. Textile-era mill houses near the old plants, post-war brick ranches, farm properties out toward Snow Camp, historic districts in Graham and Hillsborough, and new subdivisions filling in around Mebane. Each of those was framed and trimmed differently, and knowing which one you are standing in changes how a job should be approached.
In practice that means we mill profiles to match hundred-year-old millwork rather than installing modern stock beside it. It means scribing to walls that settled decades ago instead of cutting to a number. And it means telling you when the thing you asked for is not the thing you actually need — which occasionally costs us work, and is still the right call.
We work across a 60-mile radius covering 13 towns, from Reidsville and Greensboro in the west to Durham, Raleigh, and Sanford in the east. Most of it happens in homes people are living in while we work, so containment, protection, and daily cleanup are not extras — they are part of the job.
What we hold ourselves to
Six standards that decide how every project runs, from the first call to the final walkthrough.
Measure, Don't Assume
Every wall, opening, and run measured on site. Nothing in an older home is square, and work cut to nominal dimensions shows it at every corner.
Everything in Writing
Scope, materials, finish level, exclusions, and price — agreed before work starts, so nobody is guessing what was included.
Say the Hard Thing
If a repair will outlast a replacement, we say so — even when replacing would pay us more. Trust is worth more than one invoice.
Respect the House
Dust containment, floor protection, and daily cleanup. Most of our work happens in homes people are living in while we work.
Realistic Timelines
We quote schedules we can meet, including the fixed waits nobody can shorten. You hear about a delay from us before you notice it.
Licensed & Insured
Certificates produced before work begins, without being asked twice. It protects you at least as much as it protects us.
Five steps, no surprises
The same sequence on every project, whether it is one room of trim or a full kitchen rebuild.
The Call
Tell us what you have in mind. We ask questions, flag anything that sounds more complicated than it seems, and book a visit.
The Measure
We come out, measure properly, and look at what is actually there — including the things that only show up in person.
The Written Quote
A scope you can read and compare, covering materials, finish level, timeline, and what is explicitly not included.
The Work
Protected floors, contained dust, daily cleanup, and status updates. Changes get approved in writing before they happen.
The Walkthrough
We go through the finished work with you item by item and close out the punch list before final invoicing.
